OWNER AND CEO, MATRIX CONNEXIONS
Dr Michael R. Taylor is a UK Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a European Professional Engineer (Eur Ing) registered with FEANI in Brussels.
He is passionate about digital engineering and holds a Masters Degree in Microprocessor Automatic Speech Recognition and a Doctorate in Aerospace Information Systems.
Michael is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (FIET), a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS) and a Fellow of the BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, (FBCS).
He is also a Freeman of the City of London and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT).
In 2019 he won the University of Westminster Lifetime Achievement Award.
EXPERIENCE
Michael has held senior board level roles in the Private, Public and 3rd Sectors and is named inventor on over 12 patents.

His private sector experience ranges from start-ups and SMEs, to global technology and aerospace companies.
His public sector experience ranges from a 1* appointment within the UK's largest police force, to a 2* Director's role in a major Whitehall Department.
His 3rd sector experience includes 9 years as Chairman of a leading UK IT accessibility charity.
Michael has operated as an independent consultant to various start-ups, SMEs and global companies since 2009.
